Nigerian scam Parody

Rose DesRochers wants to give you $10.000.000.00

Dear friend, I’m Rose DesRochers. I am interested in your partnership in business dealing. This business proposal I wish to intimate you with is of mutual benefit and it’s success is entirely based on mutual trust.

I am representing the board of bull shit. I am seeking your assistance to enable me transfer the sum of 10.000.000.00 in Monopoly money to you. If you accept the above condition, please quickly contact me so that we can seal the deal.

Best Regards, Rose DesRochers

The above is my parody of a Nigerian scam email.

Seriously though, Nigerian, or “419”, scams are one of the most common types of fraudulent emails received. If you are unfamiliar with this email scam, somebody purporting to be a Nigerian banker contacts you, informing you that someone has passed away and you have been chosen to receive the considerable fortune of a deceased millionaire. When in truth they want you to aid them in laundering money.

Don’t fall victim to the scam.
