Happy New Year 2007

Happy New Year

I just wanted to wish my readership a Happy New Year 2007. I hope 2007 has started off better for you than it has for me.

I spent the wee early morning hours hugging my toilet bowl.   As I’m sitting here typing this post I have a splitting headache and my stomach is doing somersaults.

I’m not that excited for a new year. Another year has passed us by, what have you done to make this world a better place?

Saddam Hussein was executed by hanging. Will the war with Iran stop now?
On the first day of the new year, it is not just a good time to make a change in your own life, but the life of others.

I cannot help but wonder will 2007 bring us any closer to moving towards a better world than 2006 did or will it find us still in the midst of a society where people’s hearts are so full of  hatred.
Every New Year’s Eve millions of people make New Year’s resolutions. My daughter even admitted that she had a few.  Why wait to New Year’s Eve to make a resolution that you most likely won’t follow through with?

Did you make a New Year’s resolution? How many of last year’s New Year’s resolutions have you successfully kept?

Today is a new year.  As John Lennon said, ” You may say that I’m a dreamer, But I’m not the only one. I hope someday you’ll join us and the world will live as one.”

Happy New Year!
