Friday the Thirteenth-Work at Home Fathers Day

Happy Friday the 13th. Are you overly superstitious? Do you have a irrational fear of Friday the 13th (also called paraskevidekatriaphobe)? Have you broken a mirror today? Has a black cat crossed your path? I’m not particularly superstitious, but if anything bad happens today I can blame it on the date. After all today is also “Blame Someone else day.” I hope you fathers who work from home are having some luck today. After all today is Work @ Home Father’s Day.

Work @ Home Father’s Day was created by Jeff Zbar, a married work-at-home consultant, copywriter, columnist and married father of three. Jeff is also host of the Chief Home Officer (chiefhomeofficer.com).

Work @ Home Father’s Day celebrates those fathers who have elected to work or remain at home. Happy Work @ Home Father’s Day to my husband and all the other fathers who choose to work at home.

Jeff is hosting a Work-at-Home Father’s Day Essay Contest. Write an essay of up to 250 words on “Why I Work at Home: A Dad’s View” and submit it to Jeff no later than later than 5 p.m. (Eastern time) on Sunday, June 15, 2008. See “Hey Home Office Dad! Enter the Work-at-Home Father’s Day Essay Contest” for complete guidlines.
