Twitter has become an increasingly popular platform and there is no better time than now to integrated Twitter into your blog.
How to Display Your Latest Tweets on your Blog
Go to your Twitter feed. Click the rss icon in the address bar at the top of the browser. (look for the rss icon at the end of the browser’s URL field.)
In WordPress: Go to appearance … Widgets, and add an RSS widget to the sidebar.
Under ‘Enter the RSS feed URL here,’ paste in the URL of your Twitter account’s RSS feed.
With the widget you can control how many of your recent tweets appear.
In Blogger: Twitter Widgets let you display Twitter updates on your Blogger blog. Simply drop by Twitter Widgets, and choose the “Profile Widget.” Customize your profile widget by entering your username. Add the traditional Twitter widget to your site’s sidebar by clicking on finish & grab code then clicking on add to blogger. You’ll be redirected to Blogger where you can confirm by clicking on add widget.
Add a Twitter button to your sidebar
Twitter Buttons is a service that helps you quickly create a badge to promote your Twitter account. They have loads of buttons to choose from.

Add a Twitter counter to your sidebar
TwitterCounter is a service which keeps track of the number of your followers. Twittercounter currently tracks statistics of more than 10 million Twitter users.
Use TwitterCounter WordPress Plugin – Activate the plugin and add it to your widget sidebar and it’ll show the count automatically.
Add Twitter Counter Manually:
Go to the TwitterCounter website.
Type your name into the box and click ‘Show.’
Click on ‘widgets.’ Then click on ‘my buttons.’
In WordPress- Go to Appearance -Click on Editor- Sidebar- and paste the code where you want the counter to appear.
You can also go to your Widget admin page:
Add a new ‘Text’ widget to your sidebar. Paste the code into the empty textbox.
Click ‘save’ to show your TwitterCounter.
Copy the WordPress.com or Blogger.com user code and paste it into the empty text box. Save the changes.

TwitterLink Comments– This plugin will add an extra field to your comment form so a user can add their Twitter username.
TweetMeme Button adds the TweetMeme button into your posts and RSS feed.
Boastful is a plugin that allows you to grab all mentions on Twitter of a page and pull in those user’s avatars to your blog. It’s kinda like trackbacks in the blogosphere, except with tweets.
Commentwitter is a WordPress plugin that gives commenters the option of Tweeting their comment with a link to your post.
TwitThis Button adds the TwitThis button into your posts and RSS feed and auto-tweets new posts.
SimpleTwitterBox is a very simple plugin to display a twitter box in the sidebar.
Twitter Friends is a WordPress plugin that displays your Twitter friends/ followers in your sidebar.
